Scott McAuley & Darren Keith are both from the North East of Scotland, recently broke onto the scene with their debut vocal trance track 'Fairytales' which features the beautifully lush vocal talent of Karen Elliot.
With great support from DJ's throughout the globe Fairytales has been branded "A definite future classic", being played by the likes of, Armin Van Buuren, Andy Moor, Bobina, Ruslan Rodriges, Cordroy and many more.
Following on since their first release in Oct 2017, the duo have gone from strength to strength, showing their ability to please their followers with a varied style of productions from Progressive Trance, House, Tech trance and beautiful 138bpm uplifting and melodic stormers.
The duo had great success with their remix of Darren Tate (DT8) - Climb, producing not only one remix but two! The Progressive remix had blends of new and old style trance. The Tech Remix took the track on a completely different journey, with driving riffs and "Phat!" basslines!
Their Second release with mondo records was "it's alright" which had support from Judge Jules & More, followed by that was "inca" which was supported by the legendary Cosmic Gate.
Orano's Latest release "Spotlight" out on 5th Oct 2018, hit the ground running with instant support from the industries heavy weights Ferry Corsten, Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate & many more.
If the first 12 months success of Orano is to continue, we can't wait to see what's next!!
Scott's love for all things music began at a very young age, playing guitar from 13, moving onto synths in his late teens. Scott's interest in EDM production began when he and a fellow musician Mike Greig decided to start writing dance tracks on an Atari ST and a floppy disc with some software called Cubase 24. Mike & Scott then went onto form their first dance act called Euphony. Both having a great time, gigging, receiving airplay over the years, whilst still learning the arts of EDM Production.
Over the years, Scott has grown a vast knowledge in music production & sound engineering, completing his HNC & HND Audio Engineering in 1998 at Perth College.
Darren Keith has had a massive interest and love for EDM since as far back as he can remember, and has been a very keen and invaluable addition to the band, He has the envyable ability to find so many epic chord structures, which many of our tracks are based around. Darren puts many hours into perfecting the in's and out's of electronic music production. and moves on from strength to stength each and every year.
